—INSTITUTIONAL
& COMMERCIAL PROJECTS—
Jeff Gold & Associates (JGA) is working with the Unitarian
Church of Davis on a master plan for their 6 acre campus near
the city of Davis. This plan will address the long-range building
needs for worship, educational and social activities. The second
phase addresses the design and construction of a new social hall
and classroom facility and the renovation of their existing sanctuary.
A local video technology company, AJA Video, Inc. will be
expanding into new facilities designed by Jeff Gold & Associates.
This facility will be on a 7 acre site, and will consist of 70,000
square feet in two buildings for manufacturing, engineering and
corporate offices for 150 staff members. JGA is providing the design
for the site, building, and interior tenant improvements.
JGA recently completed the master plan for a Nevada County recycling
center for Waste Management, Inc. The facility will be contained
within a new 25,000 square foot industrial building.
The Litton Retail Center was recently completed, and is
now occupied by the BriarPatch Natural Foods Co-op. This
22,000 square foot building has received LEED certification by the
United States Green Building Council. This is the first privately
developed commercial building in Nevada County to obtain this certification
as a high-performance, energy-efficient and environmentally designed
building, JGA worked with the developers and the BriarPatch Co-op
for the building shell and tenant improvements.
CoRR, a non-profit community organization has retained
JGA to design their substance abuse treatment center in Grass Valley.
This project will include 25,000 square feet of building in a campus
setting on 3 acres, and consists of both out-patient services and
residential facilities.
